First Swing Ride

Yesterday we (mom and Summer) went to Baylands Park in Sunnyvale with our hiking group. It was hot! We got a look at the bay and wild life and ended at the playground where Summer had her first swing ride. She wasn't so sure about it at first, but shortly into the ride she had a smile on her face.

"hmmm...I'm not sure about this." "Okay, this is kinda fun..."

Lazy Sunday

Warm weekend fun

This weekend Ron played in a tennis tournament in Pleasanton. He kept winning matches which was great but as you can see he was very tired. He made it all the way to the semi-finals!

On Sunday we went on a walk at Almaden Lake Park. Summer is wearing her 'Old School San Francisco Native' T-shirt which we took out of the 'clothes too big' box. It's not too big anymore. Summer is outgrowing some of her 3-6 months clothes. She's very long!

Look What I Can Do?

We have been trying to do lots of tummy time with Summer to help her get ready to be more mobile (and to minimize that baby bald spot on the back of her head.) Today while on her tummy she turned over by herself! I was so excited I cheered very loudly which shocked her since I think she flipped over totally by mistake.

tummytime.......-----------------------------------------> FLIP!!!!!!!!!

She's also beginning to sit up. You can really see her trying to 'find her center', like a little yogi, and use her core ab muscles to hold herself up. And when you hold her on your lap in a standing position she puts weight on her legs. What a strong girl we have!
