Lost dog found

I took Buster for a walk in the neighborhood on Dec. 10, and we found this little sweet dog wandering alone close to the road. A neighbor helped me look for the owner for awhile, to no avail. I took the little lost dog home for the night, and made up some flyers. The flyers were up for a whole one hour before I got the call on my cell. The reunion was made and all is well in lost doggie land.
Nice ending.

Here's another shot.

And here's Buster pretending to be a good boy about the whole thing. He enjoyed the company for the short time we had a visitor.

A trip to San Francisco...

Hmmm.....

Daddy playing tricks on Summer. She'll get me back some day, no doubt.

"Look Summer! Daddy can make rainbows anytime he wants. Or something...

Dog Party!

We dropped by the old loft on Friday to visit with friends and their dogs. We miss them all a lot, and Buster even went to his old front door thinking he had a short walk home. Summer slept through it all...

A new human on earth

Yesterday, on Thursday November 16, 2006, Julia and Ron Harris said hello to their first child.
Her name is Summer Wren Harris.
Vital statistics: born 11:01 a.m. in San Francisco; 7 pounds, 10 ounces; 19 1/2 inches long; black hair, cobalt blue eyes, two arms, oh you get the picture... here she is. And she's beautiful, sources say.

She looks like a lefty. She could have a pretty tough first serve, if the grip is any indication.

What, me worry?

Memorial Park ... in RAW mode

It really does make a difference. Plus I'm crushing it through a beefy Photoshop tweak process, so it's looking like the thing to do. Now, dare I drop the `RAW + jpeg' setting and just go RAW full time? I'm thinking not, considering the card sizes. But I digress...

The wee one

Here's the first photo of Summer ever taken. Which is cool.

Cooked up the Q&D family blog, so here we go!
