Harris Family Jam 3: The Kimya Dawson Calamity

This could possibly be the World's Worst Cover Song, considering we just freelanced 98.3 percent of it and then just quit.

Harris Family Jam 2: Smiths

We went for it. Smiths. It's been awhile. Julia sounded good. Summer sounded good on backup vocals. Dad was a little twangy. It'll work.

Spring Sunshine Remembered

Burrrrrrrrrr. We are cold here in the Bay Area on this blustery, rainy Earth Day. Ahhhh, it seems like only yesterday we were basking in the incredibly warm Spring weather, letting the kiddos splash in the fountain outside of La Fiesta in their short sleeves. Oh wait. That was yesterday (Well, last week anyway.)

Soon Mother Nature will decide to give us back the warmth. In the meantime, you can look at this lovely picture and reminise.

Tahoe

We took a trip to Lake Tahoe with Summer to meet up with Julia's cousin Chloe and her friend Kara to hit the slopes. It was great. Summer got her first dose of snow (just on her hand, and she seemed disinterested according to mom). On Sunday, I took Summer to the lake and lunch and shopping. What a great day we had.

Green Baby

I said "hi" to a tree once and for Summer it really caught on. She has become quite the tree hugger, literally. Here she is hugging a nice tree at one of our favorite parks:

They Like to Wrassle!

Dog sitting

We are looking after Bailey for a couple of days while our neighbors are gone. He and Buster are a crack up when they get together.

Summer loves apples

I found a new trick. When I want to shop at Target for an hour and am worried Summer will get bored, I give her an apple. She eats the entire apple down to the core while I get some shopping in! Who knew an apple could be so engaging! Here she is enjoying an apple with her friend Rose.

Project "Skate Again!": The Caltrain Session

Some day Summer will see this video and roll her eyes and fly off with her anti-gravity jet pack and say to herself "Dad is so lame." So I've got that going for me, which is nice. Next month I hit the ramps!
