Project: Skate Again! (Part II)

OK. Project "Skate Again!" has reached critical mass. I've actually built the board. A friend of mine and former pro skateboarder has dubbed this "the longest skateboard building project in history." I got the deck well over a month and a half ago and the effort to get me back on the concrete languished in poor form as I procrastinated about buying the additional parts. There's something very id-ego-super ego about that whole thing. I just can't figure it out.

Anyway. Now I have taken the plunge. There's only one thing left to do now... kick, push, glide. I'm either old school, or just old. I'll let others judge. ER rooms and casts, here I come!

Easter Pics Part Deux (Mom's version)

Now that Ron has given the facts of our Easter day so precisely and documented with just the right amount of photos, I can add the colorful details, that is, the most important detail, FASHION.Here, Summer models her Easter dress in my sister's garden. Of course, we couldn't forget the all important full length view of the dress. Also, I have added a pic of Summer with Aunt Ernie and a family photo.

LA in BW

Ron is in L.A. for a week. Here's a little slideshow he put together with Cuban feminist hip-hop music that he can't understand but enjoyed the group who performed on St. Patrick's evening in what had to be the least Irish dive bar concert ever performed.
